Tell us a little bit about yourself?

My name is Helena Eflerová and I am a dedicated professional multidisciplinary artist, arts health and wellbeing practitioner, aquatic bodywork therapist, dance, swimming and yoga teacher – and a founder of HEAQUATICS.

I have a proven track record of 18 years providing experiences in the visual and performing arts, facilitating education, therapy, live and filmed underwater productions at leading galleries and arts centres, spa hotels and charities.

 What do you love doing the most?

I have always been passionate about eating a plant-based diet and leading health & wellbeing lifestyle. My aim is to connect with people on a deeper level and support them in enriching and nourishing their lives. 

 What will be your go to thing in 2021?

Undertaking a professional development in Aqua Sensory – so water massage and baby swimming and working in the water with people of all ages.

 What is your favourite part of the UK?

The Purbecks are around the corner. Beautiful and  timeless!

 Favourite item of clothing?

My Orca wetsuit.

I also like to wear ethical brands just to BAM, London Asquith, Vegan Happy, Finistree.

 Favourite piece of fitness/exercise or health equipment?

Swimming, diving and bodyboarding fins so I can glide in the water even more effortlessly.

During the winter it was definitely my Dryrobe. It kept me warm after swimming in the sea.

 What do you think the biggest fitness/health trend will be over the next few years?

Open Water Swimming as it’s available to people 24 hours a day, free of charge. It offers a multitude of benefits for mental health and physical wellbeing.

 Who would you gift fitness to, why and what would it be?
