Monday
8am – Power Yoga (Jasmin) A full body Broga class for students who want a muscular and mental challenge. Expect to get a powerful flow going and work through repetitive moves that build in sets and progressively build to become more difficult. Suitable for all levels.
12pm – Upper Body Rehab Yoga (Jazzy) This class is formatted to be classic Broga – stretching, strengthening and cardio fitness simultaneously – but, at its core, focuses on the deep stretching needed for meaningful joint and injury rehab. Perfect for any one with shoulder joint mobility issues, injury recovery or anyone needing an active recovery day. Cross-fitters and weightlifters sign up here. You need this.
Tuesday
8am – Lower Body Bootcamp Yoga (Max) This class works on both stretching and strengthening what other workouts miss – isometric power, balancing and stabiliser muscles, adductors, abductors and extensor muscles of the glutes. You will use and strengthen muscles you didn’t know you had.
12pm – Upper Body Bootcamp (Jazzy) This is a dynamic upper body workout that will work to strengthen the chest, triceps, shoulders and core. It builds in difficulty so you can make it as easy or as challenging as you possibly can. The class also includes deep stretching and ab work at the end of the class.
6pm – Yoga HIIT (Tess) Fitness plus yoga in a non-stop workout that will raise your heart rate, increase your metabolism and is excellent for fat burning, all while getting a full body stretch and mobility session in.
8:45pm – Rest Day Yoga (Katrina) Our active recovery yoga class operates on the yin yoga principle of allowing your body and mind to work together to passively open and release trapped areas of the body. Enjoy this class in between workouts or on a day off to relieve mental and physical tension. But don’t worry you will be challenged because not actively working is actually deceivingly hard work!
Wednesday
8am – Turbo Pilates (Jasmin) A full body class we think Joseph Pilates would be proud of. This is for students who want long muscular lines and the postural alignment of a professional dancer. Everything you expect in a Broga class with sets and reps focusing on hard to reach areas in both both upper and lower body. Each section will increase in difficulty from a beginner level, so there is always the option to do something again or progress to the next level. We like to think the entire class is a core workout, but don’t worry there will be some dedicated abs at the end!
12pm – Lower Body Rehab Yoga (Jazzy) This class is formatted to be classic Broga combining deep stretching, muscle strengthening and cardio fitness – but, at its core, focuses on the deep slow work needed for meaningful joint and injury rehab. Active recovery day.
6:30pm – Bootcamp Yoga (Simon) This is the foundation Broga® class. It goes systematically through the full body and operates on the idea that for each body part you do two static/stretches and hold them for 5-10 breaths before moving on to repetitive dynamic strength exercises for that same body part.
